They demand 1. timely investigations 2. proactive compliance measures 3. resolution reforms \u00a0and 4. further education and guidance. Through the use of Title IX they work toward change in the support networks that shape the development of girls. Furthermore, they aim to create opportunities by working with communities and employing programs and projects to destroy barriers that limit girls and women.<sup><a title=\"References\" href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/references\/\">2<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p><strong>Southern Connecticut State University Speaks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/scsuspeaks.tumblr.com\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-173 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/12\/Screen-Shot-2014-12-20-at-5.22.11-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2014-12-20 at 5.22.11 PM\" width=\"128\" height=\"125\" \/>Southern Connecticut State University Speaks<\/a>\u00a0is a student group formed at Southern Connecticut State university in response to the school&#8217;s inaction regarding\u00a0Professor David Chevan&#8217;s sexual assault of a student in 2011. They seek to bring about changes in the school&#8217;s policy regarding sexual assault and amending the reporting procedures. Incite! works with communities &#8220;to\u00a0develop political projects that address the multiple forms of violence women of color experience in our lives, on our bodies, and in our communities.&#8221;<sup><a title=\"References\" href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/references\/\">5<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>NOW Cincinnati Chapter<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/now-cincinnati.org\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-169 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/12\/Screen-Shot-2014-12-20-at-5.19.31-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2014-12-20 at 5.19.31 PM\" width=\"102\" height=\"104\" \/>National Organization for Women: Cincinnati Chapter<\/a>\u00a0is a Cincinnati chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). They are a grassroots organization made up of local men and women in support of women&#8217;s rights. Furthermore, they work to eliminate discrimination, including sexual assault and Title IX violations, in many institutions including public universities in Cincinnati. They work to educate their community on how to go about achieving equality and protecting women. While they are devoted to women&#8217;s rights specifically in Burlington, they also emphasize the importance of advocating for women all over the worlds for &#8220;as long as women are oppressed anywhere in the world, no woman is truly free.&#8221;<sup><a title=\"References\" href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/references\/\">7<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>SAFER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.safercampus.org\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-171 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/12\/Screen-Shot-2014-12-20-at-5.21.16-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2014-12-20 at 5.21.16 PM\" width=\"184\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/12\/Screen-Shot-2014-12-20-at-5.21.16-PM.png 257w, https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/12\/Screen-Shot-2014-12-20-at-5.21.16-PM-150x73.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 184px) 100vw, 184px\" \/>SAFER<\/a>\u00a0is a student lead action that fights sexual assault by creating campaigns to reform colleges&#8217; policies regarding sexual assault.
