Her page provides educational information to promote awareness of sexual abuse. She seeks to offer a safe place for victims to feel supported and empowered. She first became involved in sexual assault activism when she co-founded Happens Here, a publication that creates spaces for survivors of assault to share their stories, at Amherst College. She has also testified before congress regarding Title IX policy and she is well-published regarding sexual assault. Through writing, organizing, and law she hopes to create campuses free of discrimination and with support programs in place for victims.<a title=\"References\" href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-lplimpto\/references\/\"><sup>30<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/the97project\" target=\"_blank\">The 97 Project<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative that seeks to start a conversation about sexual assault. Their goal is to discuss sexual assault, abuse and harassment. While in her second year at columbia, she was raped. She claims Columbia mishandled her case and did not protect her rights under title IX.
