It is a resource for educators and families as they provide literacy experiences for children who are blind or visually impaired. The Paths to Literacy Blog provides news and information related to learning and literacy acquisition for students who are blind or visually impaired. The company works with nonprofit partners such as <a href=\"http:\/\/visionspring.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">VisionSpring<\/a> which trains men and women in developing countries to give comprehensive eye exams and sell glasses to their communities at affordable prices. Though focused on providing corrected vision to people in developing countries, Warby Parker plans to begin an initiative to support Americans who do not have access to vision screenings or cannot afford prescription frames.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visionimpactinstitute.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vision Impact Institute<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-ssawyers\/citations\/\"><sup>16<\/sup><\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Vision Impact Institute calls attention to the problem of poor eyesight and its consequences. It advocates for new research into vision economics and treatment of visual impairment worldwide. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VisionCost\" target=\"_blank\">@VisionCost<\/a> is the official Twitter account for the Vision Impact Institute and keeps its followers up to date on what problems arise because of uncorrected vision, where to get free eye exams, and provides information and research on the effects of poor eyesight.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wisconsinvision.com\/WisconsinVision.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Wisconsin Vision\/Heartland Vision<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/education-2272-fall-2014-ssawyers\/citations\/\"><sup>17<\/sup><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wisconsinvision.com\/WisconsinVision.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong>Wisconsin Vision has been servicing eye care patients for over thirty years. It is the largest independently owned and operated optical provider in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Vision offers eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses across Wisconsin. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WisconsinVision?hc_location=timeline\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a> provides more up-to-date information.
