This is a Case Study on the #FreeWildin Campaign that took place in Durham, NC in 2016 when an undocumented student, Wildin Acosta, was detained by ICE on his way to school. His community worked hard to enforce his right to an education, regardless of immigration status.

This website has several objectives:

1. 1. To provide a summary of the successes and challenges that characterized the 2016 Free Wildin Campaign.
   2. To share the stories of people involved in the Free Wildin Campaign.
   3. To amplify the facts about undocumented students’ right to education and highlight the flaws in our education system that limit their right.
   4. To curate a collection of current activist’s approaches to supporting undocumented students.
   5. To champion storytelling as a powerful tool for growing people’s perspectives and affecting positive change.
