We all know now that the election was called for Biden on November 7 and that Trump\u2019s subsequent court cases (so far) have failed, but we didn\u2019t know that then.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">-In between November 3 and November 7, there were a handful of counter-protests <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattletimes.com\/seattle-news\/demonstrators-at-seattle-post-election-protests-call-on-officials-to-count-every-vote\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(including one in Seattle)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> primarily responding to the protests from Republicans calling for the votes in predominantly Black areas to remain uncounted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">-Since the election has been called, many organizers believe that a Trump coup is no longer probable and therefore have not been organizing against the claims of a stolen election from the far-right to prevent giving them any sense of legitimacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>-A lot of this work was done before November 3, 2020.
