As a teacher future teacher in Providence, RI I decided to research the nature and focus of current grassroots activism in the region. My hope is to better understand the area in which I will be working and get a glimpse into some of the community’s concerns and interests. Besides my own personal gains I hope this site can be a reference for other educators of all levels and experience who wish to know more about grassroots efforts in and around the city of Providence.<\/p>\n
