Lorrain Franklin-Taylor started to reach out to other grieving mothers in an effort to provide support and work towards violence prevention. Organizers work to guide family members as they\u00a0grapple with the trauma that follows the death of a loved one. The faith-based organization aims to keep young people away from gangs by providing them with educational supports, intervention programs, and support for their family members.
