Founded in 2001, they are a large\u00a0organization that advocates for\u00a0autonomous, high quality charter schools. Additionally, they seek charter expansion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.publiccharters.org\/\">http:\/\/www.publiccharters.org\/<\/a>\u00a0National Alliance for Public Charter Schools is\u00a0nationwide, and well funded.\u00a0They especially focus on the nation&#8217;s expansion of charter schools. Their website is\u00a0easy to navigate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GreatSchoolsMA\/\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GreatSchoolsMA\/<\/a>\u00a0Great Schools Massachusetts is a nonprofit organization that campaigns in support of charter schools. Although they use key terminology (like &#8220;coalition of parents&#8221;) to appear more like\u00a0a community led effort, this organization\u00a0is funded by wealthy education reformers. This organization raised and spent the most money on the pro-charter side.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.familiesforexcellentschools.org\/\">http:\/\/www.familiesforexcellentschools.org\/<\/a>\u00a0Families for Excellent Schools (FES) is a nation wide pro charter organization based in Ny. FES donated millions of dollars to Great Schools Massachusetts during the 2016 campaign to raise the charter cap.
