On the international scale, we have proposed a knowledge sharing forum that provides regional training initiatives centered around Indigenous practices that will address issues of infrastructure, food\/housing security, and relocation challenges. They collect food donated by community members and administer government food programs. Whether you are an Alaska native or not, the Food Bank of Alaska provides an abundance of opportunities to become involved. Their goals include raising awareness about food insecurity and the challenging living conditions in Nunavut, and collaborating with different levels of government to support, assess, and evaluate programs addressing hunger, poverty, housing, and health.
