de fantasmas\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366\">La primera vez que vi un fantasma<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Solange Rodr\u00edguez Pappe es una catedr\u00e1tica y escritora de narrativa breve. Naci\u00f3 en 1976 en Guayaquil, la segunda ciudad m\u00e1s grande de Ecuador. Realiz\u00f3 sus estudios superiores en la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Santiago de Guayaquil, donde obtuvo el t\u00edtulo de licenciada en literatura y, posteriormente, un m\u00e1ster en literatura hispanoamericana en la Universidad Andina Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar. Ha publicado ocho antolog\u00edas de cuentos cortos y, adicionalmente, dos publicaciones digitales. Sus obras tratan tem\u00e1ticas de misterio, suspenso, terror, explorando lo fant\u00e1stico a trav\u00e9s de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hablemosescritoras.com\/writers\/461\">&#8220;un c\u00f3digo femenino, demostrando la atracci\u00f3n tem\u00e1tica por los fantasmas, los escapistas, los monstruos, los magos de Ecuador&#8221;.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A sus 23 a\u00f1os, inici\u00f3 su carrera mediante la autopublicaci\u00f3n, bajo el sello Gato Tuerto Producciones public\u00f3 su primera obra <span style=\"color: #993366\"><em>Tinta Sangre<\/em> (2000)<\/span>. Sus otras dos obras, <span style=\"color: #993366\">Dracofilia (2005)<\/span> y <span style=\"color: #993366\"><em>El Lugar de las Apariciones (2007)<\/em><\/span> tambi\u00e9n fueron autopublicadas. Su siguiente obra <em><span style=\"color: #993366\"> Balas Perdidas (2010)<\/span><\/em>, Premio Joaqu\u00edn Gallegos Lara al mejor libro de cuentos y segundo lugar en el Premio Pichincha del Cuento, tuvo dos ediciones de las cuales ambas editoriales imprimieron pocos libros.<\/p>\n<p>Solange <a href=\"https:\/\/matavilela.org\/solange-rodriguez\/\">menciona<\/a> que el dinero que ha recibido como compensaci\u00f3n de los premios le dio m\u00e1s opciones para publicar sus obras. As\u00ed, <span style=\"color: #993366\"><em>La Bondad de los Extra\u00f1os (2014) <\/em><\/span>marc\u00f3 un giro trascendental en su carrera. Esta obra fue publicada en una coedici\u00f3n entre el sello editorial C\u00e1daver Exquisito, de Guayaquil, y el sello La Caracola, de Quito (la capital de Ecuador). El haber sido publicada en la capital le abri\u00f3 muchas puertas, su editorial &#8220;coloc\u00f3 los libros en las librer\u00edas correctas&#8221;, y los promocion\u00f3 en ferias de libro. La editorial Candaya se puso en contacto con Solange y al a\u00f1o siguiente public\u00f3 sus siguientes obras con lo cual acarre\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s reconocimiento.<\/p>\n<p>Solange no posee un agente literario y, si bien reconoce las ventajas y desventajas que pueden ofrecer, no los considera necesarios.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #993366\">&#8220;Hoy cuando pienso \u201cno estoy innovando nada\u201d me pregunto si para m\u00ed eso es importante. Para m\u00ed tiene sentido escribir y voy a seguir haci\u00e9ndolo. Finalmente uno decide&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366\">&#8211; Entrevista a Solange Rodr\u00edguez Pappe<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #993366\">\u201cIf one lets others decide one&#8217;s life, one fills up with hatred of ghosts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366\">&#8211; La primera vez que vi un fantasma<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Solange Rodr\u00edguez Pappe is a professor of Hispanic Literature and writer of short stories. She was born in 1976 in Guayaquil, the second-largest city in Ecuador. She completed her higher education at the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Santiago de Guayaquil, where she earned a degree in literature and a master&#8217;s in Latin American literature at the Universidad Andina Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar. She has published eight anthologies of short stories and two digital publications. Her works deal with mystery, suspense, and terror themes, exploring the fantastic through &#8220;a feminine code, demonstrating a thematic attraction to ghosts, escape artists, monsters, magicians of Ecuador.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the age of 23, she began her career through self-publishing; under the label Gato Tuerto Producciones, she published her first work, <span style=\"color: #993366\"><em>Tinta Sangre<\/em> (2000)<\/span>. Her other two works, <span style=\"color: #993366\">Dracofilia (2005)<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #993366\"><em>El Lugar de las Apariciones (2007),\u00a0<\/em><\/span> were also self-published.
