Title of Abstract: Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice, Consumer Protection Branch

Name of Mentor: Sarah Chingos

Mentor’s Organization or Department: McKeen Center, Bowdoin College

Research Abstract: This summer as a BPS fellow I interned at the U.S. DOJ in the Consumer Protection Branch. Here I worked directly with attorneys on multiple cases involving an international complex consumer fraud case and a departmental defense case. I gained valuable experience and exposure to the subpoena process, grand juries, and department strategy and process.
