Using Success to Define Masculinity

Instead of praising ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ, we de-feminize them and make comments about their manliness. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ must work twice as hard to be ๐Ÿ™Œ.๐Ÿ‘จย get promoted easier/faster than ๐Ÿ‘ฉ for the same jobs! Shouldnโ€™t an individualโ€™s work content/ethic be all that matters? There will always be competition, winning/losing, and domination in the workplace. I believe the issue isnโ€™t within the workplace, but rather in that we associate these traits with ๐Ÿ•ต. There are insanely ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ‘ฉย in all industries, so why are we stuck? Yes, the workplace has been constructed by ๐Ÿ‘จ, but isnโ€™t the bigger issue that society uses ๐Ÿ™Œ in the workplace to define ๐Ÿ•ต? Because right now, society uses the words ๐Ÿ‘จย and ๐Ÿ™Œ to define eachother. How can this change?

A Parental Dilemma — Gendering Children

While most โ˜บโ˜บย  are open to ๐Ÿ”ƒ boundary crossing/๐Ÿ”ƒ ๐Ÿ•ต with their children, this ๐Ÿ‘‹ย  only goes so far. Society praises ๐Ÿ’ช ideals as the most powerful ๐Ÿ”ƒ ๐Ÿ‘€ย that someone can show, causing โ˜บโ˜บ to feel obliged to instill ๐Ÿ’ช ideals in their children so that they donโ€™t face ๐ŸŒ scrutiny. This is seen both in how โ˜บโ˜บ allow their daughters to pursue perceived ๐Ÿ‘จ endeavors, and how fathers feel it is their duty to shape their sonโ€™s ๐Ÿ‘จ. โ˜บโ˜บ feel that whatever ๐Ÿ”ƒ their ๐Ÿ‘ถย claim is a direct result/๐Ÿ‘€ of them as โ˜บโ˜บ. How can โ˜บโ˜บ raise their ๐Ÿ‘ถ in a ๐Ÿ”ƒ-neutral way, while not setting them up to face scorn in ๐ŸŒ? Are we stuck in a vicious cycle, or is there some realistic approach to promote ๐ŸŒย ๐Ÿ‘‹ย  of ๐Ÿ”ƒ ๐Ÿ•ต?
