For our first TikTok, we focused on explaining what sociology is in colloquial accessible terms while also maintaining a fun and engaging personality to attract viewers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is the script we used for our first video:<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hey friends!\u00a0 I\u2019m Katie,\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I\u2019m Kyle and we\u2019re making this channel to help break down some sociology for you. We\u2019re both a few weeks away from finishing sociology degrees, so let\u2019s break down what we spent the last 4 years of our lives on. Hey Katie? What is sociology?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Basically, sociology is the study of society and of social behavior. And that means that basically everything falls in the realm of sociology. It includes answers to things as small as why do you stop at a red traffic light or as big as why do nations crumble? Sociologists study everything from families, to states, from petty crime to systems of education.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But at the end of the day, sociologists are answering one basic question: Why humans be doing that?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Next steps would be to begin working on our presentation for class and making more content.
