The first time I read these materials, I was relatively unfamiliar with the topics, and was not looking in particular for neoliberal themes, so I think that this is a good place to start.

Springboarding off of these texts about the issue of choice in women’s reproductive health, I will continue to collect data from various online newspapers to connect the theory materials to current-day issues, especially during the Trump age. I also plan to read sections of at least two other books (the one that you suggested to me, and one of Solinger’s works) to gather more information.

As I am narrowing my focus as I go, I will adapt my research methods to what I am finding most interesting and important, as well as what information is readily available. These data will help me to begin to outline the impact that the neoliberal context influences women’s access to and use of reproductive choice.

What kinds of data will you collect (e.g. documents, newspaper articles, photos/videos/visual data, direct observation)?
