But then I noticed that the words look interesting going out of the frame, as if they go on indefinitely&#8211;more of a sea of words and associations rather than just a &#8220;pond.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But this wasn&#8217;t meant to exclude any of the words in the cropped sections&#8211;my main idea is to keep all the words just as they are but enlarge the hands in proportion to the rectangle and\/or change the proportions of the rectangle itself.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-982\" src=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_-300x285.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"285\" srcset=\"https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_-300x285.png 300w, https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_-1024x974.png 1024w, https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_-768x730.png 768w, https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_-1200x1141.png 1200w, https:\/\/courses.bowdoin.edu\/visual-arts-1101-spring-2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/363\/2020\/04\/OG.Note_.png 1331w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the process, however, I also happened on a square format, which might also have its advantages. Squares are equilateral&#8211;that is, they move in all four directions, rather than left\/right only&#8211;making the sea of ideas more infinite.
