See Low
Blackjack
My family has always been very interested in games of luck. My great-grandfather even continued to take the bus alone to the racetrack into his nineties. I picked a couple of games to play by myself, and record the kinds of movements and marks which resulted from them.
One drawing was made by playing See Low, a dice game, and dipping the dice in ink.
The other drawing was made by playing blackjack, a card game, and spreading powdered charcoal over the paper to begin.
These drawings record not the results, but the physical processes that these games are comprised of.
