Courses in Canvas are not available until you are ready to share the content with your students.
In the Course Status section at the top right of the course’s Home Page, click the drop-down arrow next to Unpublished and select Publish. Once selected, the button will turn green and display Published, confirming that the course is visible to your students.
Note: Students will not see the courses in the Dashboard until you click the Publish button.
