Diverse Perspectives on Learning Gardens
In the tabs associated with this page, I have discussed how academics view community gardens as well as how practitioners, people actually involved with the work on the ground, implement them in their every-day lives. Hopefully as you browse what academics and practitioners have to say about school/community gardens, you can get a sense that the perspectives are varied and diverse. This is exemplary of the complex nature of these gardens, both their benefits and their challenges, but I also hope you get to see that the benefits are substantial.
