  • Baltimore Racial Justice Action is a network of activists working toward racial equality through social and economic transformation. One of the organization’s leading initiatives “What the Funding”, working specifically to address the inequality of school funding through a racial lens. http://bmoreantiracist.org/
  • Baltimoreans for Educational Equity (BEE) is a coalition of teachers, parents, students and community members working together to achieve educational equity. The group constantly adapts and morphs dependent on the particular issue at hand, including segregation. http://www.beequity.org/

  • Teachers’ Democracy Project works to provide equity in teacher distribution throughout Baltimore, notably through their Black Teachers Matter movement. They also work to implement what they label their “Baltimore Grassroots Curriculum”. http://www.tdpbaltimore.org/
