  • Teaching at Bowdoin: Course (re)Design
    • A five-module asynchronous course design experience – to help you design (or redesign) a course and arrive at a syllabus while leveraging the wide range of resources available from academic partners (library, registrar, museums, McKeen Center for the Common Good, and academic technology & consulting).
  • Teaching Resources on the Resources for Course Instructors Canvas site
    • Resources include instructors open to a class visit by a colleague, instructors willing to offer guest lectures, accessibility suggestions, how to connect curriculum to the Common Good with the McKeen Center, teaching with objects in collaboration with the Arctic Museum, Museum of Art, or Special Collections, ipad teaching strategies, and more.
  • First Year Writing Seminar Resources on Canvas
    • Sample syllabi, example assignments, quick tips about handling the paper load, and what to do on the first day are available on this Canvas site for instructors.
  • Wicked Smart Student Success Strategies on Canvas
    • Modules for students on time management, reading strategies, notetaking, writing papers, incorporating feedback, staying focused and more. Modules can be incroporated into any Canvas course or shared with students directly.
  • On-line resources and workshops from the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD)
