Winter Break Book Club with College Houses (Sign up by 11/16)

The College House Interns would like to invite you to join the annual Winter Book Club. This year’s book is Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. Join this group for a free copy of the book and the chance to discuss with other members of the Bowdoin community! 

Here is the timeline for Winter Book Club: 

BY NOVEMBER 16th: Fill out the form below to reserve a copy of the book. 

BEFORE WINTER BREAK: Pick up your copy of the book in Dudley Coe, emails will be sent out when the book arrives. 

EARLY SPRING SEMESTER: Attend a discussion group in one of the College Houses, specific dates will be released soon.

In addition, as part of Toshi Reagon’s McKeen Visiting Fellowship this year, Indigo Arts Alliance and Portland Ovations in association with Bowdoin College will present Reagon’s production of Parable of the Sower. The performance date is April 14 in Merrill Auditorium (Portland), stay tuned for more information about tickets. This book club is a fantastic opportunity to read the novel and learn more before the show!
