Integrating Learning: Teaching, Development, and Purpose in a Changing World

We invite faculty, staff, and students to join us for the 2027 Women in Technology Spring Convening, a cross-institutional gathering centered on teaching and learning in the liberal arts.

This year’s convening explores a central question:

How do we support deep, meaningful student learning—in and beyond the classroom—in a rapidly evolving world?

Through a series of conversations, workshops, and shared practices, we will examine how we design learning experiences that help students make sense of their education, connect their experiences across contexts, and carry that learning forward into lives of purpose.

The convening will be organized around three thematic areas:

  • Preparing Students for Meaningful Work and Purposeful Lives
  • The Holistic Student Experience: Learning Beyond the Classroom
  • Reimagining Teaching and Learning in a Changing Academic Landscape

While digital tools—including AI—are part of this evolving landscape, the focus of this convening is on pedagogy, student learning, and the broader educational experience.

We especially encourage participation from faculty and welcome perspectives that reflect thoughtful collaboration with colleagues in student affairs and other areas that support student learning and development.

Additional details, including a Call for Proposals, will be shared in Fall 2026. We hope you will join us.
