May Course Design Institute

May 28, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m

The best time to plan a course is at the end of a semester when you are both tired and realistic about what can happen in a semester. This one-day institute is an opportunity for faculty and instructors to start the design of a new course or rethink the design of a pre-existing course. In 4 hours, you will have written clear learning outcomes, aligned those outcomes with transparent assignments, and intentionally brainstormed possible course materials while considering the diverse needs of the learners in that class. Each participant spends time working on the elements of their courses that need the most attention while engaging in conversation with the facilitator, and fellow instructors/colleagues.

Registration available on Campus Groups
