Spring 2024 Teaching Opportunities at the Arctic Museum and Museum of Art

Bring your class to the Arctic Museum!

If you are interested in bringing your class to the Arctic museum this semester, please reach out to Curatorial Intern Rebecca LaPoint ([email protected]). In the Fall, we welcomed a variety of classes to our new space. Students looked at objects in our teaching classroom and participated in activities in the galleries. We can set up a time to meet and discuss further. The calendar fills up fast so if you are interested, please reach out sooner rather than later.

Bring your class to the Museum of Art

With the new semester quickly approaching, this is a great time to submit a CLASS VISIT REQUEST if you plan to bring your students to the Museum. We are accepting requests for staff-guided and self-led visits in the galleries and in our Zuckert Seminar Room. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the details in place yet; just let us know two or three potential dates, the time your class meets, and number of students. We’ll contact you to discuss ideas and finalize plans after that. Class visits are on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s good to have requests in sooner rather than later.

For more information about how you can incorporate object-based learning into your course, click here. Of course, don’t hesitate to reach out to Curator Casey Braun ([email protected]) and Curatorial Fellow Sean Kramer ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
