Teaching with AI Workshop Series 

Mondays March 11-April 8, 1-2pm

Led by José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson, authors of Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning(Johns Hopkins University Press, 2024), this four-part, live workshop series will help participants understand the current AI landscape; address academic integrity in meaningful and fair-minded ways; craft assignments that ensure course outcomes as well as AI literacies are developed; and utilize AI to assist with course design, development, and management tasks.

You’re invited to our “Spring Break AI Camp: 90 Minutes of Coffee and Hands-on Practice With Generative AI

  • When: March 20th, 10:00 – 11:30 AM
  • Where: Mills Room M103

This 90-minute session offers a hands-on look at AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-Pilot, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Adobe Firefly. Bring your own questions or use our provided prompts to explore these technologies and your laptop or iPad! . Jennifer Snow, Paul Benham, and Juli Haugen from Academic Technology and Consulting will be available to assist and answer questions. Coffee and snacks will be served and bring your own laptop (preferred) or iPad.
