School shootings have become too regular in the past 20 years with way too many students having lost their lives. Students should not be spending their days practicing active-shooter drills, but instead engaging in rigorous learning. The sad fact is that not enough action was taken after shootings to prevent it from happening again. One group of students really stepped up for advocating for greater gun control after a devastating tragedy struck their school. Through my research I will be focusing on the outstanding student organizing after the Parkland mass shooting!
