Iowa and New Hampshire to lose their status as Democratic first states?
The DNC approved a resolution that will “require require states or territories to make the case for themselves to be included in a batch of states to have contests ahead of Super Tuesday in early March.”
The purpose of this resolution is to “ensure a nominating process that is more reflective of the party’s values.”
The Committee will announce a proposed calendar in July which the DNC will vote on to confirm in August.
