You and Urban Planning

Public Sociology - Professor Theo Greene

About the Author

I have been fascinated by cities and their streets from a very young age, long before I found out about the professions that designed them. As a little kid recently having outgrown his car seat, I would memorize street names and directions to all the places my parents would frequent. Long road trips to different cities like New Orleans and Orlando would make me think long about my sense of place and why those cities felt so different than my own. My passion for the urban environment has led me to explore topics such as walkability, historic preservation, and using GIS to evaluate access to public transportation.
