Drawing II / Spring, 2020 / Professor Mark Wethli
A continuation of the principles introduced in Drawing I, with a more intensive exploration of the history, theory, and practice of drawing as it applies to the full range of visual expression, from drawing in and of itself to its role and relationship to all areas of the arts, with attention to contemporary art practices in particular. To achieve these goals, the course will be divided into three parts: Life Drawing (First 7 weeks), Aleatory Drawing (First 7 weeks), and a Self-Designed Independent Drawing Project (6 weeks).
