A public school in the Salt Lake City School District, Horizonte serves about 800 regular full-time high schoolers, 2,200 adult English language learners and high school degree earners, a young parents support program, and district career and technical education plus wraparound counseling for youth. The program is a site for local teachers in training, works under the motto “As far as the eye can see, as far as the mind can reach,” and works to reach all matter of learners through linguistically broad programming.
