These sources give us a better understanding of what eSports represents. Simply, eSports is competitive gaming with 134 million total viewers worldwide creating sophisticated social media platforms. In addition, the growth of social media platforms, specifically Facebook and Twitter generate a passion point through the gaming industry. Lastly, the increase in streaming technologies such as Twitch and Youtube are extremely influential in producing a spectator sport for fans and other viewers.
