PSU in 2020

As police brutality and COVID-19 have continued to disproportionately impact Black people and other people of color in 2020, the Philadelphia Student Union (PSU) has found ways to continue its work safely as Philadelphia reckons with these nationwide issues. Borrowing from Loomer and Kirshner’s research on relational power and youth organizing, respectively, this website will examine how PSU’s focus on community-building and education ground its anti-racism work.
