This is the second time I have done a self-portrait and I decided to stick with the style Picasso used during my portrait prep assignment. I think that this went very well. This drawing was taken at a bit of an angle that led to the drawing not being head-on and thus, the sides of my face are not even and it looks a little lopsided. However, this was needed as I think that my face was too evenly lit leading to a small range of values which was even worse when it was head-on. This was further exacerbated by my failure to not hit the darkest and lightest values accurately. Nonetheless, I am very happy with my result and being able to see a resemblance.
